  • 1981. 07. 01. Establishment of the Defense Quality Assessment Agency (Affiliated to the Agency for Defense Development)
  • 1989. 08. 31. Change in title to the Defense Quality Assurance Agency
  • 1999. 04. 11. Took over the task of quality assurance of warships, enforced the quality validation program for national defense system
  • 2006. 02. 02. Opening of the Defense Agency for Technology and Quality under the Defense Acquisition Program Administration (Extension of scope of work to technology planning)
  • 2011. 06. 15. Establishment of the affiliated Defense Technology Innovation Center
