  • Development of overseas forestry resources and international cooperation on forestry issues
  • Operation and management of the forest carbon offset system and acquisition of forest carbon offset credits
  • Support for the sixth industry and professional education for people engaged in forestry
  • Quality certification of timber and timber products and revitalization of use of timber
  • Information on forestry management, production and distribution
  • Korean forest certification system for forest management and forest product
  • Preliminary monitoring and control of pine wilt disease, education and PR.
  • Life-cycle management for forest science-technology R&D program, promotion of commercialization of R&D
